Nee. Zie de IMDB-pagina van de regisseur (jaartal 2009 en 2005). Twee verschillende dingen. |
Klopt, die uit 2009 is een film die nog gedraait heeft op Imagine.

En ook Theodoros Angelopoulos krijgt dan eindelijk een eerste officiele DVD-box. Het bevat zijn eerste vier werken uit de jaren '70. Ik ben reuze benieuwd naar de kwaliteit ervan want AE heeft in het verleden nogal wat 'matige' DVD's op de markt gebracht.
Trouwens ook andere 'beroemde' regisseurs krijgen een goedgevulde box. Zoals ene ANDREI, NICOLAS, PAOLO en ABBAS.

Heel erg goed nieuws van die Angelopoulos boxset. Hopelijk zullen zijn latere films (Landscape in the Mist!) ook nog volgen. Die Tarkovsky set heb ik vorige week binnen gehad. Leuk ding voor een aardige prijs!

Die heb ik helaas nog niet kunnen bewonderen, maar ik neem aan dat die hetzelfde is als van de oude AE DVD's. Daarvan heb ik Stalker, Solyaris en Zerkalo gezien en die waren allemaal best aardig te kijken. En voor 50 euro wil ik de gok wel wagen!

Informatie van Play.com:
Theo Angelopoulos Collection Volume I: Reconstruction (1970), Days of '36 (1972), The Travelling Players (1975) en The Hunter (1977). Komt uit op 1 augustus (???) maar staat nog in de pre-order.
Theo Angelopoulos Collection Volume II: Alexander the Great (1980), Voyage to Cythera (1984), The Beekeeper (1986), Landscape in the Mist (1988). Komt uit op 7 november.
Die tweede box wil ik sowieso en die eerste neem ik er denk ik ook nog wel bij. Hopelijk komt er ook nog een derde volume!

Mijn wensen zijn verhoord! Volume 3 bevat: The Suspended Step of the Stork, Ulysses' Gaze, Eternity and a Day, The Weeping Meadow en The Dust of Time
Jammer dat ze nog steeds aardig duur lijken te worden!

Een mooi initiatief maar vind het inhoudelijk nogal een ratjetoe als je het mij vraagt. Heb liever deze eerste vier boxen.
