Las dat Malick's film nog niet 100% klaar was en dat ze daarom nog een paar plekken vrij houden voor regisseurs die met hetzelfde probleem zitten.

Godard moet niet zo zeiken, heb het een beetje gehad met ooit revolutionaire filmmakers die vinden dat de nieuwe generatie er niets van bakt. Terwijl zij zelf verantwoordelijk zijn geweest voor die ontwikkeling.

Waarschijnlijk zal de film al aangekocht zijn. Anders word die nu wel aangekocht vanwege de ''Gouden Palm''. Maar ik weet nu al dat buiten de vijf grote filmhuizen in Nederland om de film nergens maar dan ook nergens te zien zal zijn. Of per ongeluk een dagje vanwege de ''Gouden Palm''.

Ik heb nog steeds geen film van Apichatpong Weerasethakul (wat een verkoopnaam Laughing

) gezien maar van wat ik gelezen heb moet het extreme minimalistische cinema zijn die nogal hermetisch gesloten moet zijn. Ik zie een Wizz-art, Pindarots, Enclave en zelfs Erik nu al in slaap vallen. Ik vermoed dat het voor mij zelfs een pijnlijk lange zit zal worden. Her en der heb ik al gelezen dat dit echt niet zo enorm goed moet zijn. We wachten wel af...

Het verhaal van de film doet me trouwens denken aan The Ballad of Narayama. Confused

Daarom denk ik ook dat het wel even zal duren voordat ik deze film vrijwillig ga zien, lijkt me niet echt een film voor mij. Toch apart met Burton als voorzitter dat iets minimalistisch wint Wink

Jammer dat deze film de Palm wint. Lijkt me niks aan.

Het lijkt me voor jou Verhoeven geen lange zit. De trailer doet vermoeden dat het een vage film is die zo zweverig aandoet zoals film waarop jij kickt.
