Omdat Guillermo Del Toro hele andere films maakt dan Peter Jackson. Hij heeft een veel donkere benadering van de thema's. Leg Pan's Labyrinth eens naast Heavenly Creatures. Hij is in alles een tegenpool dan Jackson.

Vindt dat The Hobbit ook wel een hele donkere film mag worden.
Boek is ook duister als de LotR boeken

 Heb je de boeken überhaupt gelezen? Want dit is een opmerking die kant noch wal slaat. Het 'duistere' in "The Hobbit" is kinderspel vergeleken bij dat in "The Lord of the Rings".

Precies. Daarom kan ik de opmerking van The_Milagro dat "The Hobbit" heel duister mag worden omdat het boek ook duisterder is dan "The Lord of the Rings" nergens op slaan. Want dat is niet zo.

Dan heb ik een andere Hobbit boek in me gedachten.
LotR heb ik alle drie 2 keer gelezen
